You is an American psychological thriller television series. The first season follows the story of Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager in New York, who upon meeting Guinevere Beck, an aspiring writer, becomes infatuated with her. He feeds his toxic obsession using social media and other technology to track her presence and remove obstacles to their romance.
In the second season, Joe Goldberg moves from New York to Los Angeles to escape his past and starts over with a new identity. When he meets avid chef Love Quinn, Joe begins falling into his old patterns of obsession and violence. As Joe attempts to forge a new love in the City of Angels, he strives to make his relationship with Love succeed at all costs to avoid the fate of his past romantic endeavors.
The show is all about mysterious dark romanticized series that’s engrossingly entertaining in an oxymoron detective of emotional coasters, the writing is extremely intelligible and vividly fascinating. ‘You’ is a watch must see, stay patient and let it evolve and take you on bright/dark rides that explore the contrast of the human psyche...as narrated by the main(s) as the series progresses vividly.
Once you start watching, you will experience a thrill ride of emotions. The show will keep you hooked until the end, without any doubt. Over all, the show teaches you about obsession, selfishness and toxic relationships that you get addicted to. How we need to analyze such friendships, affairs and how to end them before they have consumed us. The story keeps you glued to the seats and never fails you the plot is so good that I learned a lot from it. It is just awesome.
