Zack Snyder's Justice League story
The story is all about how, thousands of years ago, Darkseid along with his Parademons ventured to defeat Earth using the Mother Boxes. The attempt was countered by a cooperative agreement of Old Gods, Amazons, Atlanteans, humanity, and a Green Lantern. After the fight, the Boxes were secretly kept in randomly varied locations, checked by the Atlanteans, Humanity, and Amazons respectively. In the present, Superman's death brought about the Boxes' reactivation, magnetizing Steppenwolf, one of Darkseid's servants, to Earth. Steppenwolf, who has fallen out of favor with Darkseid, decided to regain it by collecting the boxes to form "the Unity," which would terraform Earth in the likeness of their world Apokolips.
Steppenwolf brought back a Mother Box from Themyscira, killing off the Amazon forces and prompting Queen Hippolyta to warn her daughter Diana Prince of the invasion. Prince gets the message and gets to know about the events linked to Darkseid and Steppenwolf. She notifies Bruce Wayne of these developments. Wayne and Prince seek to form a team of metahumans in order to secure Earth. Wayne navigates Arthur Curry and Barry Allen, while Prince locates Victor Stone. Allen joins immediately, while Curry and Stone deny. Nevertheless, Stone joins after his father Silas and several other S.T.A.R. Labs employees are kidnapped by Parademons seeking the humans' Mother Box. Steppenwolf attacks an Atlantean outpost to retrieve their Box, forcing Curry into action.
The team gets the delivery of intel from Gotham City police Commissioner James Gordon, leading them to Steppenwolf's army in an abandoned facility under Gotham Harbor. Even after the group saves the kidnapped employees, the facility is flooded during combat, trapping the team until Curry helps delay the flood so they can escape. Stone recovered the final Mother Box, which he had secretly kept, for the bunch to analyze. Stone disclosed that Silas used the Box to reconstruct his body after a car accident. Also that the Boxes are "change machines" that wholeheartedly accomplished the will of their master, destroying or restoring to life without bias. The group planned to use the Box to recover Superman to help fight Steppenwolf. Allen and Stone dig up Superman's body, and place it in the amniotic fluid of the genesis chamber in a Kryptonian ship] kept in S.T.A.R. Labs. After Allen activates the Mother Box, an amnesiac Superman is resurrected, immediately attacking the group after Stone's cybernetics target him in self-defense. Lois Lane arrives just in time to calm Superman, preventing him from killing Wayne. All together, Lane and Superman left for his family home situated in Smallville, where he gets back his memories and joins with his mother, Martha.

Labs and regains the last Mother Box, even though Silas controls to supercharge the Box with laser heat at the edge of his own life, permitting Stone to track it by navigating the heat. Excluding Superman, the five heroes ride back to where Steppenwolf targets to unite the Boxes. The team battles their way amongst the Parademons to reach the Boxes but cannot divert Steppenwolf sufficient enough for Stone to disconnect them. Superman reaches and overpowers Steppenwolf, but however, the Boxes mix to make the Unity, causing a massive disaster. Allen steps into the Speed Force and switches back time, permitting Superman and Stone to separate the Boxes. The heroes murder Steppenwolf and spin his body into a portal to Apokolips. Darkseid makes sure that his servant DeSaad will return to Earth to complete his mission for the Anti-Life Equation.
After the war, Wayne, Prince, and Alfred Pennyworth agree to set up a base of implications at the former Wayne Manor. After obtaining a dream including Mera, Stone, Allen, the Joker, Wilson, and an antagonist Superman in a post-apocalyptic world, Wayne achieves a visit from the Martian Manhunter, who in the past visited Lane disguised in the form, Martha. He presents his gratitude to Wayne for gathering the team before saying they will be in touch in preparation for Darkseid's next plans.
Zack Snyder's Justice League Trailer
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is, simply put, an absolutely brilliant film. The pacing, action, acting, cinematography/visuals, and score are all top-notch. While the 4-hour runtime may at first seem daunting to take on, the film actually moves along in a way that feels more like a 2 1/2-hour movie. This is a beautiful testament to Snyder using every bit of that time to masterfully build the story & character arcs in a way that feels entirely earned.
Everything has been improved so much in this movie from what it was in the other movie.
The visual effects are so much better as everything looks really real and not like a video game like it was in the other movie. The musical score is also much more thrilling and the action sequences are too. The finale in particular has been improved so much from the other movie. But the best thing that has been improved is performances and characters. All of the heroes are so much better developed and fleshed out particularly Cyborg. Everyone does an amazing job in their role.
