Tribes of Europa is a 2021 German sci-fi television series directed by Philip Koch and Florian Baxmeyer that is set to premiere on Netflix on February 19, 2021. The story revolves around the set in 2074 when three siblings set out to change the destiny of Europe after a worldwide catastrophe causes Europe to break into dystopian warring genetic micro-states that compete for supremacy over the other states. Afterward, the three siblings get caught up in the problem when they come into possession of an unusual cube.
Set in 2074, Tribes of Europa is set in “the wake of a mysterious global disaster,†where a “war rages between the Tribes that have emerged from the wreckage of Europe. Three siblings from the peaceful Origine tribe – Kiano (Emilio Sakraya), Liv (Henriette Confucius), and Elja (David Ali Rashed) – are separated and forced to forge their own paths in an action-packed fight for the future of this new Europa.â€

The four tribes that make up the new micro-states continent are The Crimson Republic, The Crows, The Origines, and The Atlantians. The Crimson Republic consists of members of the European Eurocorps Army attempting to uphold the social order and keep life as close to the Old World as possible. The Crows are the more devious tribe, concentrating on dictatorship, consumed by an urge to enslave and expand with a love of the party life and a code of honor. The Origines nevertheless, reverted back to a past industrial life, enhancing into pacifists along with nature. Lastly, the Atlantians carry the honor of the most technologically advanced tribe in Europa, which also creates them the most hidden from the dangers of the world.
Tribes of Europa will have a total of six episodes, based on language in English and German. It will surely be interesting to see how the politics of such a parted futuristic Europe will play out, and how the mysterious artifact will threaten the remains of humanity.
