The Walking Dead announced that its season 11 will be premiering on 22nd August 2021 in the trailer which was dropped along with a bonus episode of Season 10. Even though the fans can’t wait, they can keep themselves entertained by watching Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 which will be released on 6th April. The Walking Dead Season 10 with 22 episodes was the longest one until Season 11 came in the picture with 24 episodes which will be aired by the year 2022. Well, this is no secret that there will be more than just flagship series, including Daryl and Carol having their own spinning off, it definitely will give closure to a lot of other storylines. There could be a chance that we see Alexandria for the last time. Season 10 left a lot of untold stories and unresolved things which we expect to see in this season like about the mysterious soldiers that took Eugene and others, where are they from, what are the Reapers here for? What will be Negan’s Fate? Will Negan be killed by Maggie?
Well, the mystery that we all want to know is what will happen with Negan and how will things be resolved between Meggie and Negan. In the bonus episode, we see two villain groups that will be the center attraction that is the Reapers and the Commonwealth. Obviously, Commonwealth won’t be introduced in episode one as it will initially cover the Reaper’s who are behind Maggie till they reach Alexandria and they will be the first part’s main villain of The Walking Dead Season 11, and Commonwealth will enter the scenario probably in late 2021 or 2022.
Why this is the end of The Walking Dead
As Rober Kirkman's comic ended abruptly, there’s almost no story left for The Walking Dead TV show to use after the commonwealth storyline has come to an end. That’s why Season 11 will be the end. But it isn’t a quick one as it has a total of 24 episodes so they’ll wrap it up by Spring 2022 as it has eight extra episodes than the usual.
The Commonwealth:
Well for the Commonwealth after the faction that recently came out of Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s comic book. After I was mentioned in the comics it looked obvious that it will be majorly focused on.
We’ll see an Advanced city having numbers in thousands of superior weapons and smart technology, the commonwealth is striving to reclaim things like they were supposed to be as they were before the apocalypse. This will preserve good and bad, aspects of society. The final chapter of the comic shows deep inequality within their own social structure where they assign you the status in society and job role based on the role they played before the world ended. Like Michonne was a lawyer before the end so she is treated in a better way as compared to Eugene who used to be a high school teacher. This is very chaotic to see how things are done, Although, things are very different in Alexandria where all are treated equally and every role in the society is given equal importance. Rick Grimes also died in the comic but we can’t be 100% sure how things will go in the TV show and he might end up living as Andre Lincoln is not a part of the show anymore as he will be starring in his own Walking Dead movie.
The Reapers
Well, the Alexandrians won’t have any less trouble going back home, with problems being there from both, outside and inside the walls. After a few days when the Whisperers were killed, They faced a new threat trying to hunt them in the woods, these are known as the Reapers, who are crazy and just take away prey, isolate them, ambush them and burn their camps down. Well, we know very little about them except the fact that they are after Maggie’s group and have been following them on their way back as they have made their appearance in only one episode of The Walking Dead Season 10, we can see that they are definitely in some trouble.
Maggie VS Negan
Inside Alexandria, the main conflict between Maggie and Negan is a big suspense. It ended up hanging us where Negan moved back to Alexandria after he was banished by Carol. He seems quite low initially when he sits alone in the exile and a rebellious smile comes on his face when he sees Maggie, its quite clear that he is not leaving Alexandria unless there’s a casket. We are curious to know if Negan will become the villain again in Season 11 or will he figure it out away? Will Maggie forgive him? All these answers will come to an end after the show ends. Stay tuned for updates.
